We have an opening for an experienced administrator to join our client based in Central Milton Keynes. A great opportunity to join an established organisation that can offer career progression and a professional working environment.

You will provide a responsive, vital and professional interface with customers to ensure that regulatory functions are performed with integrity and to the highest professional standards.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Dealing with applications referred by 'other' regulators in Jersey, Guernsey and IoM.
  • Review and process applications for local auditor and key audit partners
  • Manage the application process
  • Update application paperwork; responsible for changes, revisions and updates
  • Assist in collecting overdue fees
  • Managing incoming queries to the team and responding within agreed timescales
  • Deputising for other senior administrators
  • Assisting in managing applications and enquiries
  • Capturing and accurately recording changes and amendments
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to colleagues to promote high standards and pragmatic solutions to problems
  • Providing customer support via both the telephone helpline and email and taking responsibility for managing incoming enquiries through to their satisfactory conclusion.
  • Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs

We are looking for someone with:

You must have had experience of working in a technical role where you have had to manage a busy workload and have the ability to work to deadlines and multi-task.

  • Good understanding of legislation covering areas of specialist expertise (training will be given)
  • Good understanding of company bye-laws, regulations and ethical guidance
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including very good organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident, inquisitive, accurate and enjoys problem solving.
  • Pays attention to detail, capacity to learn quickly and a willingness to take ownership for deliverables
  • Computer literate, experience of bespoke systems
  • A proactive team player with skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels

The ideal candidate will be from a processing role that has the experience of dealing with complex enquries.
