Talent and Development Assistant

9 month fixed term contract

£22,000 per annum pro rata

We are looking for a super organised individual to provide flexible, efficient support to the Talent and Development team. This role is offered on a fixed term basis and due to the location, you will need your own transport.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively managing the course booking process
  • Ensure relevant documentation is sent to delegates
  • Liaising with external training providers to secure training dates
  • Booking internal training rooms
  • Ordering/maintaining training room refreshments
  • Upkeep of course information in internal systems
  • Reporting on courses attended and budgets
  • Respond to general enquiries from the central mailbox, telephone and face-to-face

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent general administration skills including solid Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both telephone and face to face
  • Ability to prioritise and balance a changing workload, whilst being flexible and working with different processes
  • Our ideal candidate would have experience of working in an HR environment
