Sales Account Manager (office based)

Permanent

£25,000 - £28,000 commission

Milton Keynes

You'll be responsible for a designated customer base with an aim to achieve growth, retention and customer satisfaction. You will achieve your targets through understanding your customers' needs, recommending suitable solutions and delivering excellent service. Ongoing management of the customers is also critical to maximising the retention of spend. The commission for this position is expected to be around £7k.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to establish and build close working relationships
  • Using information from the customer, demonstrate how we can improve their business with our services
  • Communicate new initiatives, products and services
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Conduct relevant product and service training with customers
  • Be the primary point of contact for customer queries and resolution of problems, taking ownership of the issue and ensuring a satisfactory outcome
  • Identify and deliver training opportunities to support the relationship
  • Recording information in relevant databases, and ensure CRM's are kept up to date

  • Analytical and confident with data analysis, and building stories around this
  • Able to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and deliver excellent service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt these to varying customers
  • Is able to attend face to face meetings/conferences where required and use these opportunities to help drive business goals forward
  • Is positive and enthusiastic about their role and the wider business
  • Someone who thrives in a hardworking and dynamic team
