Purchasing Cordinator

Permanent

Circa £25,000 plus bonus

MK18

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful family run business in the Buckingham area. You will ideally have experience in either a purchasing role or have worked in the construction industry, but first and foremost you will need to come with bags of energy and enthusiasm, be a flexible team player with a great sense of humour!

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Ensure all services and materials purchased operate within compliance of the industry
Ensure you maintain accurate knowledge of products and services
Reviewing forecasted purchase plans with nominated suppliers
Managing purchase order acknowledgement and confirmation process
Maintaining accurate information
Producing and reviewing supplier purchase order status reports
Managing supplier performance & relationships
Providing technical and administrative support to the business for all purchasing

We are looking for someone with:

Experience within the construction industry is desirable
Purchasing experience desires=d
Experience of calculations; margins, rebates, negotiating ideally
Naturally commercially minded
Highly energetic, motivate
Confident communicator
