Purchase Ledger Assistant

Temporary (4 weeks)

£9.00 - £11.00 per hour plus holiday pay

Milton Keynes

We require an experienced Purchase Ledger professional to provide some additional support to our client based in Bletchley on a short-term basis.

You must be able to hit the ground running and work with minimal supervision within a small, busy and friendly team.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Coding and processing electronic/paper invoices
  • Resolving queries/disputes relating to supplier invoices and debit notes
  • Monthly reconciliations
  • Raising debit notes for shortage/price discrepancies
  • Raising cost pricing disputes with the buying department
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Answer and deal with any phone calls and resolve supplier queries
  • Monitor and respond to any emails sent to the accounts / invoices inbox
  • Support Finance Department with ad hoc tasks as required
  • Assist with Client Setups
