FTC (6mths)

£35,000 - £42,000

Milton Keynes

The Projects Leader is responsible for coordinating the planning, execution and delivery of new products and for managing improvement within the current product portfolio to achieve product strategy goals.

This project management role manages multiple (approximately 20-40) routine projects over 3 to 6 months' time horizons leveraging and coordinating internal and external resources to ensure on time and in budget project completion while navigating changing business priorities.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Reviews new item requests including development needs, cost, product lead-times, feasibility, supplies, etc.
  • Coordinates and implementation of projects within defined project scope.
  • Provides final project costings for approval
  • Responsible for coordination of all new products and product changes accurately and on time.
  • Coordinates detailed total supply chain integration efforts
  • Responsible for ensuring completion of relevant authorization and support documentation.
  • Investigates and collaboratively resolves issues/challenges
  • Keeps up-to-date monitoring and reporting program status
  • Follow document specific processes and procedures with new suppliers
  • Defines, manages, maintains and communicates project plans
  • Acts as a liaison between stakeholders and team members.
  • Responsible for ensuring project successfully transitioned to the Replenishment Team
  • Works with cross functional teams with a focus on collaboration

We are looking for someone with:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Prince II project management is desirable
  • 3 years proven experience as projects manager in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of managing multiple projects of conflicting deadlines
  • Previous experience of using a project management software with Gantt Charts (e.g. Microsoft Project, Workfront, etc.)
  • Experienced in managing multiple stakeholders with effective communication at various levels including senior management
  • Valid driving license essential for travel within the UK and ability to travel in Europe
