Bedford

We are looking for a Business Graduate to join a busy procurement team, working directly with the Procurement Manager. Our ideal candidate will have already gained some commercial experience. This is a perfect opportunity to join a successful organisation offering development opportunities.

You will work in the Bedford office the majority of the time, but some time will be spent in Milton Keynes. We need someone with a full driving licence.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Reviewing supplier agreements
  • Conducting performance reviews with suppliers
  • Liaising with other teams within the organisation to ensure smooth processes
  • Maintaining the purchasing system, updating accurately
  • Price reviews with suppliers
  • Support to procurement projects
  • Various reporting with use of Excel

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A Business Graduate with 2:1 or above
  • A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers alike
  • Energetic individual with a desire to achieve and succeed
  • That is creative, will suggest new ideas
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Willing to travel to suppliers and other sites as required
  • Full Driving License required
