Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Doing the weekly payroll, processing weekly timesheets,
  • Processing expenses, claims and completing PSA returns
  • Preparing completion statements
  • Generating sales ledger invoices
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Providing cover for payment runs
  • Providing cover for cash book: Process transactions, bank reconciliations and weekly cheque runs

We are looking for someone with:

  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Good decision maker
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel
  • Preferably Knowledge of COINS an advantage
  • Preferably Qualified AAT or qualified through experience ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced VAT Compliance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the head of the GVCR team, this is a key role which will support the service delivery and growth of the centralised global VAT compliance capability based in the Milton Keynes office. The role has a number of key responsibilities. The role has a number of key responsibilities: Assisting with the on-boarding of multi-country outsourcing clients including mapping and documenting of generic VAT compliance processes, liaison with key international client stakeholders throughout the management of the international project roll-out.Acting as key contact and escalation point for clients in respect of all areas of their indirect tax complianceAnalysing the output from key data tests performed during client implementation and as part of the regular return cycle.
