Operations Co-Ordinator

Permanent

Up to £32,000

Do you have experience in a retail operations environment?

We are looking for an organised, proactive coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the business from customer service to supplier relationships. You will work closely with internal departments to ensure customers expectations are met and deliveries are made within agreed timescales. This varied role would suit someone who has had experience in the retail sector.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service through proactive
  • Respond to customer enquiries, ensure complaints are handled through to resolution
  • Build relationships with major retail customers
  • Process orders and oversee shipments through to delivery completion
  • General administration including reports, maintaining diaries and filing
  • Create and update existing product line information, updating customer portals
  • Implement picking, packing, labelling and any other relevant instructions with warehouse and administrative teams
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to build and maintain customer support
  • Work closely with overseas suppliers, ensuring customs/import paperwork is in place
  • Process customer testing queries to ensure documents are available to customers
  • Assist the finance team; setting up customers, finance queries, ensure accounts are up to date, chase payments etc
  • Check, prepare, sign off company bills & utilities and where possible aim to reduce costings.
  • Generate and share POS sales reporting on a weekly and/or ad hock basis
  • General day to day administration and cover for colleagues

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in the toy industry/retail industry is essential
  • An additional language skill - French, Spanish, German or Italian would be beneficial
  • Exceptional clear, concise communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Customer focus and understanding of deliverables
  • Results Driven with the view of continual improvement processes and procedures
  • Analytical, accurate and precise
  • Self-motivated, ability to show initiative
  • Ability to balance priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Team orientated and solutions drive
