As the Operations Coordinator you will be ensuring the efficient day to day operations and coordination of the European Business. You will be working alongside the European Directors to support a smooth transactional process from enquiry, to order, to delivery. If you are fluent in French and English then a great opportunity awaits with a fantastic, forward thinking Milton Keynes based organisation.

Key responsibilities of the Operations Coordinator:

  • Handle customer enquiries received by phone and email
  • Accurately process all customer orders for your designated area
  • Provide exceptional customer service through proactive following up on all enquires and handling complaints
  • Producing reports as required
  • Create and update existing product information for customers including online retailers
  • Coordinate activities and requirements for new customers with the warehouse
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to build and maintain customer support
  • Assist factory with FOB import orders for specific key customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with current freight partners and client backhaul operations to implement customer standards with the aim to reduce costings
  • Work with finance team to ensure all accounts are up to date and chase payments and resolve issues where necessary

The Operations Coordinator needs to have:

  • Excellent spoken and written French and English
  • Exceptional communication skills to include effective verbal with confident clarity
  • Customer focused to provide a first-class service
  • Analytical, accurate and precise
  • Confident and clear telephone manner
  • Self-motivated, ability to show initiative and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to balance priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Additional language skills Spanish, German or Italian would be an advantage
  • Experience in a retail sector operations-based role preferred
