Business Development Manager/ Account Manager (within sales environment) NorthamptonFull time/ permanent Monday - Friday office hours (no weekends!)Basic salary: up to £25,000 PA plus bonus (realistic OTE in year 1 is £50,000 PA)Key responsibilities of Business Development Manager will include:Manage and grow a quote bank of projectsActively searching for new business - prospecting and making cold callsManaging existing accounts with the aim of gaining additional business in other areasWork closely with the Head of Business Development and the sales team to target key accounts.Develop a winning strategy and close quotes to be passed to the project management teamManaging the marketing strategy for the businessActively promoting via email marketing, telephone and social media channels.Liaising with key stakeholders.Skills and abilities of Business Development Manager:Proven experience working in a business development roleDriven, hungry and comfortable being uncomfortable Confident phone manner and experience of selling face-to-face.A self-motivated professionalCompetitive desire to fulfil your potential.Someone who can achieve targets and enjoys new challenges.Commercially aware and can understand new industries quickly.
