Internal Account Manager

Permanent

£21,000 plus car

Milton Keynes

Our client is looking for an Internal Account Manager in Milton Keynes.

The role of Internal Account Manager is to provide a high quality, professional service, ensuring a smooth customer journey and maintaining a strong relationship.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible to guide the customer through the order and contract journey showing a genuine care for the service our customers receive.
  • Prioritise and organise work to make sure customers are not impacted on timeframes for requests.
  • Maintain procedure for each of your clients to ensure in your absence it can be picked up by a team member.
  • Reporting where necessary on the client contracts.
  • Build effective working relationships with all key client contacts, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Respond efficiently and professionally to incoming calls and administration tasks to provide a one stop resolution for clients and colleagues where possible.
  • Taking ownership and working within guidelines to resolve customers and other internal queries. Record all queries and action points on the system.
  • Work towards monthly order and delivery targets with a desire to achieve and surpass.

We are looking for someone with:

  • GCSE or equivalent English Language and Mathematics is preferable.
  • Previous experience within an administration role is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft packages is essential.
  • Effective telephone and negotiation skills in both written and verbal formats.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work within a pressurised environment whilst maintaining focus on personal, departmental and company objectives.
  • Prioritise and organise your workload to ensure all deadlines are met and clients are keep informed.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  • Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inspired by targets and hunger to achieve.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, all working towards the same objectives.
  • A keen eye towards innovation of processes and willing to seek better ways of processing.
  • Able and willing to take ownership of problems with the confidence to approach relevant teams for the answers required.
