Marketing Manager

Full time/ permanent

Salary up to £45,000 PA for the right candidate DOE

Location: Olney

Monday - Friday (office hours)

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering the global marketing plan for the European Region. This role will work closely with Director for Europe, Regional Business Development Managers, Certified Channel partners central and other regional marketing teams in order to create and execute the plan which will include PR, Digital Marketing, Trade Shows, as well as sector campaign and regionalized marketing materials. As part of the Global Marketing organisation the Europe Marketing Manager will also take lead in projects or co-ordination areas of particular interest for the Global Organization.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include but are not limited to:

  • Create Develop and manage the European Marketing Plan and Budget
  • Support the European Division team with campaigns to target market sectors
  • Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organisations
  • Communicate with target audiences and manage agency relationships
  • Manage and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications as appropriate;
  • Manage allocation of web, telephone and event generated leads to the sales channel(s) and to ensure opportunities are properly registered in the company's systems
  • Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-shots etc with the certified channel and International BDM team
  • Write and proofread copy.
  • Organise photo shoots.
  • Arrange for the effective distribution of marketing and marcoms materials.
  • Manage and maintain customer databases;
  • Conduct market research and customer questionnaires;
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor competitor activity and comparison matrix in conjunction with central marketing and product management
  • Any other duties required to assist in supporting the achievement of the Company objectives.

The Marketing Manager needs to have:

You will be self-motivated and trustworthy with strong organisational skills and the ability to be able to prioritise different tasks. You will strive for world class performance, promoting innovation and teamwork.

You will be personable and presentable at all times with the ability to articulate.

Special competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience of modern marketing practices
  • Minimum of 2 years in a marketing role
  • Knowledge of print and web based design
  • Flexibility and experience with working in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to attend national and regional trade shows, when applicable
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation systems such as Leadformix, Marketo, Silverpop etc
  • Extensive European travel will be required.
