Marketing Assistant

Temporary (to perm)

£10.99 per hour plus holiday pay

We have an exceptional opportunity for an individual with strong organisational skills to join our client's business in the Marketing Team providing support to the Commercial Director.

As the Marketing Assistant, you will have had experience of supporting Senior Managers and be competent in offering a range of support to keep all things organised in this busy office.

The role is initially worked on a temporary basis with a view to becoming a permanent of which a salary of £20,000 pa will be offered.

Key responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant will include but are not limited to:

Maintain and provide an administrative support service for the marketing team
Receive, respond or direct incoming calls and emails
Liaising effectively with internal departments and outside organisations on behalf of the Marketing Team
Monitor and communicate deadlines with team members, providing support needed to meet specific projects
Keep systems up to date accurately
Providing a confidential and efficient filing system
Organising travel arrangements
Preparing monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reporting

The Marketing Assistant needs to have:

GCSE Grade C Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
Experience of an administrative role and providing support at a senior level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Good copy-writing skills and the ability to present documents professionally and accurately
Ability to handle a number of projects and to balance priorities to tight deadlines in an organised manner
Ability to build effective relationships and achieve co-operation
Microsoft Office particularly Word and PowerPoint
Able to use initiative and make decisions
