This is a great opportunity to work as an Administrator within a busy Quality and Regulatory Department to support teams in fulfilling various administrative functions. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and being a driver with own transport would be preferable, but not essential. Although this is an entry level role, if you are ambitious and switched on there is scope for the role to grow within the department.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To maintain the department processes including the update and maintenance of various documents and systems
  • Ensure the latest version of a document is readily available
  • Purchase and update the relevant standards appropriate to the business
  • Communicate any updates of these standards to the Regulatory Team
  • Any other general administrative duties the department requires

We are looking for someone with

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Solid IT skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to sort and input information with accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in an administrative position would be an advantage
  • Commitment to working within a quality standard environment
  • Is assertive and can work on own initiative
  • Enjoys working in a team

Materials Manager £23,000 Olney Monday - Friday Office Hours Our industry leading client is looking to recruit a Materials Manager to join their expanding team.As the Material Manager you will be responsible for monitoring existing production plans, advising of any gaps or delays within the materials flow. You will lead weekly meetings, review current methods and processes, monitor OTIF and investigate errors and discrepancies in the system. You will also need to be prepared to see and visit suppliers if required. Main duties:Run and evaluate multiple BI reports on a daily/weekly basis, in order to analyse current production plans, current demand, planned orders and potential shortagesExpedite any outstanding material orders with suppliersOwn, plan and control the manufacturing of Sub-Assembly itemsConstantly assess and review department methods and processes, including KANBAN systems, always striving for continuous improvementProvide cover to the department as and when necessaryMonitor vendor OTIF and provide quarterly reviews in order that proper material levels are maintained, and the system is updated when necessaryMonitor and develop customer OTIF, providing reasons and solutions for any failuresWork closely with production, providing guidance and help when needed regarding any issues arising from errors on W/O's, picks, transfers, SO's, BOM Configuration, etc.Monitor current supplier base certification list, updating records as and when required About you: You will be self-motivated, with an excellent attention to detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
