IT/Finance Business Process Executive

18-month FTC

£26,000

Milton Keynes

The key role of the IT/Finance Business Process Executive is to contribute towards maintaining our client's reputation for excellence by providing a responsive and professional service to ensure that their systems contain quality data and all users can access accurate information.

You will ideally have a background in a helpdesk/support environment with an exceptional customer service focus.

This is a fixed term contract of 18 months within a professional organisation in Central Milton Keynes that offers fantastic benefits and working environment.

Key responsibilities of the IT/Finance BP Executive will include but are not limited to:

  • Process changes through the database including regular maintenance of key details
  • Review and input data relating to price change to products and services
  • Liaise with other departments within the business to confirm that data held is always accurate
  • Be the point of contact for issues that require escalation; validate the issue presented and follow through process of resolution including liaison with business area regarding updates received and action to be taken, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Provide a responsive service to all users in terms of identified faults, log in issues etc
  • Configuration of NAV workflow engine, regarding purchase orders and staff expenses
  • To identify and create the bulk update/amendment process, when required to make changes affecting high volumes of member records
  • Maintain the mailing templates held within the system
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant developments, enhancements and procedures regarding the use of the database
  • Assist with the testing and training of new financial functionality
  • Achieve the target levels and the department's Service Level Agreements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working in a helpdesk environment, preferably within Finance
  • Good communication skills (both oral & written)
  • High standard of presentation and accuracy are essential
  • Proactive in approach to tasks and able to plan time well
  • Flexible and conscientious attitude towards tasks allocated
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel, and in maintaining a complex database
  • Organisational and administrative skills
