£11.28 per hour plus holiday pay

Milton Keynes

We are helping our client in sourcing an IT Support Technician for an immediate start!

You will be working a 37.5 hour week between the hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. If successful in this temporary position, the role is offered with a view to being made permanent.

We are looking for someone with:

  • At least 6 months experience in similar technical support role
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
  • Confident working in a customer facing environment
  • Ability to carry out specific tasks with minimum of supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7, and Server 2003 / 2008
  • Some TCP/IP experience
  • Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
  • Hands on' flexible approach with a willingness to learn
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Legislation applicable to role
  • The ability to lift and carry IT equipment safely with good manual handling techniques
  • Must have own transport and able to travel to other sites
