£40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus

Are you a dedicated and engaging IT procurement professional looking for a rewarding career?

We are working with a Global Brand with offices here in Milton Keynes to recruit a procurement professional that has experience in IT sourcing. As part of the IT Procurement Team, you will report to the Regional Sourcing Manager for IT Procurement EMEA.

This accountable position requires someone with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role who is an excellent negotiator who can prepare and lead supplier negotiations and secure effective contracts.

In return you will receive a generous salary, bonus and holiday allowance plus healthcare, parking permit and flexible working hours.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Build a strategy to develop local and regional sourcing
  • Prepare & lead supplier negotiations with local and regional suppliers, including tenders and E-Sourcing
  • Implement procurement tactics, negotiation and decision processes
  • Assist in the implementation of contracts
  • Using procurement tools, track and maintain all suppliers, rates, contracts and spend
  • Take an active lead in global strategic sourcing proposals
  • Establish and cultivate close relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensure you are up to date with future knowledge of demand, service quality and business needs
  • To understand and adhere to laws and regulations, company rules policies and principles
  • Maintain and manage market knowledge - including innovation management

We are looking for someone with:

  • 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement environment, IT or telecoms
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of working in a virtual team in a multinational environment
  • Highly data literate with experience of writing clear and concise tenders
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills
  • High level of drive and commitment
  • Strong managerial and operational skills
  • Occasional travel within Europe
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
