We have a great opportunity in a growing independent business offering a fantastic working environment and staff benefits including a bonus dependant on performance.

Working in a busy team, you will assist with the planning, coordination, development and administration of the company's in-house systems, projects and deliverables. Looking after a team of six, you will have experience of managing a team, and operate in an efficient yet friendly style that brings the best out in your team.

It's vital that those working in this role are self-confident, show plenty of initiative and can work unsupervised.

It is essential you have your own transport as this place of work is not on a bus route and have a flexible approach to working hours.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to scrutinise and manipulate data and identify anomalies
  • Ability to understand and improve business and technical processes
  • Responding to queries as they arise and following them through to an acceptable conclusion
  • Ensure team resource can meet company objectives
  • Developing solutions for problems that arise during day to day processes
  • Responsibility for maintaining the smooth running of the Data Team
  • Taking ownership and leading specific areas of the business imperatives
  • Assisting with recruitment and employee HR issues
  • Management of projects, systems updates and sharing knowledge
  • Reporting, analysing and improving processes
  • Work with other managers in setting strategic direction
  • Ensure Service Levels are met
  • Undertake weekly directional communications with the team
  • Improve productivity, increase process efficiencies and reduce costs
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature
  • Train the Data Team Leaders on new products or improvements to current processes.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Commercially minded, able to assess risk and opportunity
  • Able to build relationships; internally, cross-functionally and customer facing
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite (emphasis on excel) and Outlook
  • Analytically astute, mathematical, and a logical clear thinker
  • Able to motivate and lead by example
  • Customer and team focused with a passion for people development
  • Well-presented and professional with the ability to work with minimal direction
  • The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Decision making ability and a sense of responsibility
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Ability to target the audience and deal with different skill sets
  • Excellent time management, planning & personal organisation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate aptitude for completing administrative tasks relevant to the role
