An exciting opportunity has emerged to join a highly successful Milton Keynes organisation!

As the Data Quality Team Leader, you will conduct the daily management of the team including recruitment and training, motivation, and delegation of workloads. Conducting 1-2-1 meetings with your team to support personal development.

You'll be passionate about doing the right thing for the customer, energetic, and not afraid to take risks and bold decisions. You'll be a great communicator; a great motivator and you'll thrive on leading by example.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Understanding customer needs, addressing challenges by adapting or creating process.
  • Taking ownership and accountability of your team's service delivery
  • Work alongside our development teams; providing insight, context and findings towards improved solutions.
  • Actively develop your skills and support the building of an evolving and improving team.
  • Developing and monitoring process and systems, reducing identified inefficiency and complexity.
  • Working closely with your team to coach and empower them playing a key role in the daily running of the team.
  • Leading by example in terms of behaviours; setting, reviewing and raising standards and performance.
  • Balancing competing objectives with the needs of customer and consumers
  • Overseeing the systems and reporting for your team, ensuring accuracy; and where necessary to provide recommendations and improvements to team and process requirements based on your report analysis.
  • Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with internal teams and leaders, working with them to improve our operations, technologies and service.
  • Be at the forefront of the team's future development and direction by leading and contributing to projects; get stuck in early, contribute with honesty and challenge where necessary with logical reasoning

The person we are looking for will be:

  • Remains disciplined & organised, demonstrating proactivity with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Is calm and collected under pressure and who can inspire their people to be the same.
  • Is passionate about leading their people, constantly inspiring them to succeed.
  • Has experience of managing and improving, teams, processes and expectations; with logic, emotional intelligence and diplomacy, even when the subject is challenging to broach.
  • Has a desire to learn more; with ever changing technologies and business requirements we look for those people who are adaptable.
  • Communicates fantastically in person and who writes English to an excellent standard; it is imperative that we deliver messages clearly and concisely.
  • Is forward thinking with a progressive attitude, embracing failure as an opportunity to learn and be even better.
  • Is proficient in all things Microsoft, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
