Customer Service Representative

Salary: £18,000 PA starting salary. Potential to increase to £20,000 PA within the first year. Plus further increments with service.

Location: Kettering/ Corby

Our industry-leading client is looking to recruit a Customer Service Representative to join their expanding team at a large, busy contact centre.

This vacancy is full time (37.5hrs per week) within our client's Contact Centre and covers the department opening hours of Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday and occasional Bank Holidays 9am-4pm on a rota based system:

Weekends:

1 x Saturday (9:00am to 5:00pm) in every 3 with a day off in the week

1 x Sunday (09.00am to 5:00pm) in every 7 with a day off in the week

If you work over the weekends, you have a day in lieu. You only work x5 days per week.

Key Duties of a Customer Service Representative:

  • Take ownership of customer queries and follow through to completion
  • Identify and order spare parts and accessories, provide self-help advice and book service visits in addition to promoting extended warranty products
  • Respond rapidly to all inbound customer traffic observing the current Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • Deliver first class quality customer service
  • Promote products and services with the aim of generating income for the business and improving customer loyalty. This may include the selling of repair plans, extended warranty and accessories where appropriate
  • Adhere to company processes, procedures, policies and standards
  • Maintain effective working relationships

  • You'll have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • You'll feel comfortable dealing with customers on the phone and always want to provide the best customer service experience possible
