Temporary (3 months)

£10.00 per hour plus holiday pay

Milton Keynes

We have an opportunity for an individual with Customer Service experience to join a fantastic, professional organisation for a period of three months during their busy period. Our client offers a great working environment based in Central Milton Keynes and possibly other opportunities.

The position is 37.5 hours per work working shifts between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor will include but are not limited to:

  • Take responsibility for incoming calls, emails and queries and either answer directly or refer to other departments, taking ownership until completion
  • Be confident to receive and respond to enquiries in other service centre areas at peak times or to provide scheduled cover
  • Use CRM and other appropriate systems to record enquiries
  • Co-ordinate cross-department communications and ensure the advisory teams are up-to-date and have relevant and appropriate information with which to support enquiries
  • Support the delivery of projects relevant to your department
  • Ensure compliance to data security, data protection and data confidentiality policies
  • Occasional travel to attend training and departmental/ organisation events
  • Maintain an understanding of products and services available
  • In conjunction with the Events Team, assist in planning, administering and booking of events
  • Make outbound courtesy calls to contact individuals in relation to services

Our Customer Service Advisor

  • Experienced in managing multi-channel enquiries, phone, email, online chat and social media
  • Strong motivator and trainer with experience in delivering against SLA's
  • Keen attention to detail ensuring high standard of written and verbal work
  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel, and in maintaining a complex database including CRM
  • Organisational, planning and administrative skills
  • Confident and effective communication skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
