Are you part qualified CIMA/ACCA? We have a great opportunity!

We are looking for a bright, switched on individual that is wanting to join a company where career progression is offered along with a generous salary and company benefits.

This role contributes significantly to the reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning with regular communication with Head Office.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support the preparation and distribution of monthly reporting schedules
  • You will be managing one junior business analyst, providing support and guidance
  • Develop and maintain reports to detail variations
  • Identify cost savings and revenue generation
  • Support the annual budgeting and reforecasting process
  • Act as a point of contact for Head Office requests for supporting analysis or data
  • Assisting the Finance Team and providing cover during periods of absence
  • Assisting the Operations Director with the implementation and monitoring of KPI's
  • Manage and maintain the Business Intelligence system - SQL database and Analysis Cube
  • Monthly sales reconciliation of the BI system, ordering system and AX
  • Maintaining the company's model to ensure correctness of stock valuation, material and usage cost, royalty calculations and manufacturing expenses
  • Preparation of the monthly business review pack
  • Identification of improvements in reporting process

We are looking for someone with:

  • Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA) - Essential
  • Graduate with degree in business and or Finance is desirable
  • Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines with high levels of accuracy
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Flexible attitude to work and tasks and ability to build good working relationships
  • Acute awareness of confidential and sensitive information and the ability to be diplomatic and treat matters in absolute confidence as appropriate.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to organize time well
  • Relevant experience in a finance role with responsibility for analyzing and presenting data
  • Proven track record of delivering autonomous improvements in the reporting and analysis process
  • Advanced MS Office Skills, especially Excel - (VLookup, Pivot Tables etc.)
  • Microsoft BI, Microsoft Dynamics AX

Accounts Assistant

Accounts AssistantPermanent£23,000 - £24,000Milton Keynes We have an opportunity for an individual with Accounts Payable experience to join our client's organisation. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will spend at least 60% of your time performing Accounts Payable duties. Ideally, we need someone that has experience of Sage 50, and excellent Excel skills are a must. This person needs to be able to work on their own initiative and can hit the ground running.
