The Role

 

My client based just outside of Bedford are looking for a Fleet Administrator to join their experienced team. The role will be fast paced so will require somebody with good organisational skills and cool under pressure!

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate accurate information to the client, customers and drivers.
  • Manage and account for a cash float and reimburse all other Depots with Petty Cash requirements.
  • Provide drivers with outgoing expenses; receive unused monies.
  • Administer the issue and receipt of sundry items.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Brief and debrief drivers on leaving and returning to the depot.

The Environment

 

Due to their rural location, ideally you will drive and have use of a car for work. The office is a fun place to be with plenty of banter, but it is also hard working and results driven.

 

You will be part of a team of Logistics Clerks to work 2 set shift patterns of 5.30am - 1.30pm and 12pm - 8pm, Monday to Friday. This shift will rotate on a weekly basis.

 

In addition, you will need to be assertive and confident in communicating with internal departments and realistic about timescales.

 

About You

 

Experience in this industry or even a similar role is desirable but not essential. We’re looking for a well-organised person who can operate effectively under pressure whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.

You could be just the person we're looking for!My client is looking for a highly organised Export Sales Support Administrator to join their growing team.Key tasks:Provide direct administrative support for international customers and to the Field Sales Managers. This will include sales history, copies of quotations, lead times, stock level information and product informationEnter customer sales orders, applying the appropriate credit limits.Place purchase orders with suppliers.Complete shipping paperwork and monitor shipment progress and ensure relevant paperwork is sent to the customer. Liaise with accounts department to manage the credit limit in place with our supplier and request payment when required.Ensuring export documentation is completed correctly.Provide an after-sales service (queries, complaints), acknowledging, confirming and invoicing all sales orders in a timely manner.Pro-actively communicate any changes to the customer's order status to both the customer and FSM.Ensure all direct shipments are invoiced on time.Maintain and develop customer records and databases.
