We are assisting our client with the recruitment of an Accounts Administrator with the focus predominately on Sales Ledger, producing sales invoices for their growing customer base. Our client offers a family feel run business despite recent growth and you will be working within a small team of long-standing employees in a welcoming atmosphere.

key responsibilities for the Administrator will include but are not limited to:

  • Working with both the transport management system (TMS) and the warehouse management system (WMS) to produce invoices
  • Issuing the weekly storage invoices for customers from our WMS, currently on two systems Mac (25 customers) and Open WMS (70 customers)
  • Manually adding any additional items to invoices as necessary
  • Pricing jobs on the TMS
  • Investigating any anomalies, resolving queries
  • Producing credit notes
  • Chasing proof of delivery documentation
  • Preparing and checking the Sage import file from the WMS, to enable invoice transaction to be imported into the accounts package.
  • Inputting and amending customer tariffs issued by the Sales department into the Warehouse Management System.

We are looking for an Administrator with good Excel and the ability to pick up computer systems quickly. You may have had some experience in accounts, but training will be given.

Our Administrator needs to be:

  • Works with exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident with Excel
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with others and to tight deadlines
